As cites around the U.S. are slowly returning to some form of normalcy, New York City is rearing up for its first-ever flower festival, the L.E.A.F Festival of Flowers. The festival will kick off on June 12 in New York’s Meatpacking District and run through the next day. The Founder of L.E.A. F was inspired by European flower shows like the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London. She hopes that this event will provide a platform for a variety of different florists to showcase their talents in the city they call home.

“In a city with an abundance of great florist talent and floral designers, I am so pleased to present L.E.A.F, our first annual Festival of Flowers,” says Moira Breslin, the festival’s founder in a statement. “We are delighted to provide a platform for a new generation of florists to showcase their talents, transforming the Meatpacking District into a riot of color—a gift for all New Yorkers throughout the weekend of L.E.A.F.”
