The party will have a little something to love for everyone, including themed cocktails, build-your-own bouquets, live music and Valentine’s Day goodie bags for the kiddos.
Newport on the Levee is feelin’ the love this holiday season, celebrating Valentine’s Day with a party at Bridgeeview Box Park welcome to all — singles, couples and families.
The afternoon event Love on the Levee will take place 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, and will feature themed cocktails and treats, interactive experiences and plenty of shopping opportunities to find a little something special for your special someone — or your very special self.
Visitors can get their creative juices flowing at the build-your-own bouquet station from local florist Marti Heard Designs or bop around to some music from music duo NXK from 3-6 p.m. Feeling playful? Stop by Gameworks for two all-day passes for $20.
Levee vendors are whipping up some special drinks and bites to set the mood, like Kon Tiki’s strawberry rum punch for two or strawberry daiquiris; Farmhouse Goods’ “Love Potion” cocktail topped with a chocolate-covered strawberry; Wooden Cask’s chocolate raspberry stout; Second Sight Distilling’s “Kentucky Kiss” cocktail; Little Spoon’s Valentine’s Day sugar cookies; Rotolo’s heart-shaped pizzas; Bon Mi’s strawberry milk with passionfruit boba drink; or Sweet Dreams’ chocolate-covered strawberry box.
The event will act as a one-stop-shop for your Valentine’s Day gifting needs, offering BOGO plants and complimentary candles from Leaf & Limb and a jewelry booth from Kendra Scott, which will have a raffle to win a Color Bar Party where you can design your own jewelry. 20% of the proceeds from Kendra Scott sales will be donated to Northern Kentucky nonprofit Brighten Center.
The first 50 kids to enter the event will take home a special Valentine’s Day goodie bag.
“We feel the love from our community every day, and this annual event is one of the ways we give a little love back to them,” Sally Fisk, marketing manager at Newport on the Levee, says in a release. “We can’t wait to once again transform the Levee into a Valentine’s Day-themed soiree, and host the first Love on the Levee event in the Bridgeview Box Park, surrounded by festive activations and incredible specials from our local retail and restaurants.”
Bridgeview Box Park is currently tented and heated. Masks must be worn when not seated and when not actively eating or drinking.
