We are thrilled to be able to share some good news with you all!
First of all, we can announce the new Fleur Floral Fashion event – A Castle Deserves Art.
It will be a scaled down version of Fleuramour, but certainly no less enjoyable! From the 23rd to the 27th of September, you will be able to admire lots of floral art designs from domestic and foreign talent in the Grand Commandery Castle of Alden Biesen.
And there is more good news! Due to COVID19, nature has become more and more popular. We have all come to the conclusion that we cannot live without flowers and plants.
Flowers and plants also provide extra oxygen, and therefore clean air! They are a natural filter system. Our wonderful profession also gets a positive boost! Moreover, our natural shades with a warm undertone are very trendy!
In this issue, you will find a lot of inspiration: autumn Chrysanthemums in warm colors, red apples in combination with orange and red flowers, grey hues brightened by rust and reddish-brown shades.
We found that there is a lot of creative talent to discover in Asia in the International Floral Annual. We introduce you to the designer of the cover of the last edition: Teresa Skues from Singapore. Japanese talent Hiroto Inoue has a ‘funny style’. He is convinced that flowers put a smile on our faces. Read more about his vision in this issue!
Finally, we focus on our sources of inspiration. Did you know that children are often the reason why people start working with flowers? Daniël Ost wanted to welcome his grandson to a flowery church for his baptism. Carol Jillian designs ‘baby floral couture’ and Ma.Sa.Ha creates a floral outfit for mother and daughter!
We wish you all a wonderful autumn and we hope to meet you all soon!
